What Is Grimace?

I know I've mentioned this in my previous post that this so-called blog of mine was a product of my boredom. Well, as it turns out, this "blogging" thing is kind of turning into a hobby of mine. In short, I'm bored as hell and I don't have anything better to do.

Today I attended a birthday party - a children's birthday party. It was held at McDonald's. While I was there it kinda brought me back to when I was a kid. I've always wanted to have a birthday party there because back then it looked so cool. But now I just think it's lame.. and creepy. Seriously, Ronald McDonald is not even that funny - he's a clown but doesn't even do magic tricks! Then we have the "Chicken" (sorry, I forgot her name), and then Hamburglar who, by the way, steals hamburgers which is not a good example to the kids.. tsk, tsk. And to top it all off you have Grimace - that purple "thing" that moves like Barney (the dinosaur) but looks like an inverted ice cream cone.

Grimace. The cutest purple yam ever.
Even before we were already debating what the hell Grimace is. Is it an animal? a monster? a food? I don't know. We never really had an agreement, but the closest we had was that Grimace is a.... purple yam. If you think about it, Hamburglar represents the burgers, the "Chicken" represents the chicken nuggets, so Grimace must also be a type of food. Why purple yam? Again if you think about it, Grimace can't be a beverage nor a sundae, obviously. It can't also be an egg nor a pancake. So with only one type of food left on our minds, we therefore conclude that Grimace is a purple yam. The purple yam is actually the fries - which McDonald's use instead of real potatoes to save cost because it is cheaper. Agree? You don't have to. But the next time you eat your fries, try to really taste it. I mean really taste it. You might be surprised.

Fries made out of marshmallows and a burger made out of cupcake. I call it the "Cupcake Burger". I love party favors.
